Assistant Practice Manager (APM)

JOB SUMMARY

Our Assistant Managers are responsible for helping the Practice Manager on the overall function of our CityVet Centers and reports to the Practice Manager. Assistant Managers are expected to preserve brand standards, ensure Mission integrity for the business, and support the Practice Manager in budget compliance. The primary purpose and function of the Assistant Practice Manager is to maximize the client experience, team member development and training, and to ensure good communication with team members, clients, and Home Office.

ESSENTIAL SUPPORT DUTIES:


  • Complete Client Satisfaction Support
  • Help Monitor Operations Management
  • Personnel Development and Support
  • Aid Practice Manager in meeting the clinics budget benchmarks
  • Support the Practice Manager with Inventory Management (IMS)
  • Provide Pet Care and Clinic Safety Support

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma/GED + 3 years relevant experience or bachelor’s degree

  • Lift 50 lbs to waist height

  • Strong google suite and computer skills

  • Understanding of and ability to read and interpret financial statements

  • Knowledge of regulations governing veterinary clinics

  • Understanding of state and federal safety standards

  • Frequent standing, bending, walking, lifting, carrying, and reaching

  • At least 18 years of age at the time of hire
