Nutrition Advisory

Recently, there have been concerns reported by the FDA regarding the possible association of grain-free foods and cardiac issues in some dogs.

CityVet takes the FDA's announcement seriously and is committed to participating in reporting cases to the FDA. If you have concerns regarding your pets' diet, our veterinarians and staff can recommend nutritional alternatives to address those concerns and provide brands / diets that are backed by extensive scientific research and are not "grain-free".
Nutrition Matters.

We believe that good nutrition is a foundation for good health, and that generally meat-based diets are superior to high-grain / carbohydrate-based diets for most dogs. Your veterinarian is the best source for answering your concerns, and for making any necessary adjustments to the diet of your pet.
