Dr. Hannah Elliot & Dr. Tyler Elliott
Meet The Elliotts: A Husband-and-Wife Duo
Get to know Dr. Hannah and Dr. Tyler Elliott, a husband-and-wife team dedicated to building meaningful relationships with pets and their people at CityVet | Goodyear.

Q: What inspired you both to become veterinarians?
Dr. Tyler: For me, it started with a love for animals and an interest in medicine. I originally focused on equine care but eventually found that small animal medicine offered the kind of daily connection with clients and their pets that I really value.
Dr. Hannah: I’ve always been drawn to animals and had an early fascination with biology and healing. Being a veterinarian allows me to blend those passions while helping families care for the pets they love most.
Q: What is it like working together as a married couple?
Dr. Hannah: We’ve found that our skill sets really complement each other. We work efficiently as a team, bouncing ideas off one another and leaning into our individual strengths.
Dr. Tyler: It helps that we trust each other completely and communicate constantly, two things that also happen to be critical in veterinary medicine.
Q: How would you describe your approach to patient care?
Dr. Hannah: Every pet and every family is unique. We take time to understand the full context; medical needs, lifestyle, emotional bonds, and build a treatment plan around that. I want my clients to feel empowered and informed.
Dr. Tyler: We approach each patient with the same care and attention we’d give our own pets. That means thoughtful communication, high standards of care, and a deep respect for the trust our clients place in us.
Q: What made CityVet the right fit for you?
Dr. Hannah: From day one, it was clear that CityVet prioritizes both clinical excellence and culture. We were drawn to how much the brand supports veterinarian owners while also encouraging collaboration and a positive team environment.
Dr. Tyler: CityVet gives us the autonomy to lead our clinic with intention while providing a framework that values client experience and work-life balance. It’s the best of both worlds, and we’re proud to be part of the CityVet family.
Q: Why Goodyear?
Dr. Tyler: We’ve lived in Goodyear for the past six years, and we love this community. We’ve watched it grow and knew there was a real opportunity to provide personalized, high-quality care to the pets and people here.
Dr. Hannah: It’s home. We feel grateful to grow our roots even deeper by serving our neighbors through our practice.
Q: What’s your vision for CityVet | Goodyear?
Dr. Tyler: Our goal is to provide consistently exceptional care and be a reliable, trusted resource for our community. That means being present when our clients need us, offering thoughtful guidance, and delivering an experience that reflects how deeply we care.
Dr. Hannah: We want to build a place where pets feel safe, clients feel heard, and our team feels proud of the work we do. If we can accomplish that, everything else will follow.
Q: Now that you’ve been open for a while, what has been the most rewarding part of launching your own clinic and serving the Goodyear community?
Dr. Tyler: Seeing familiar faces walk through our doors and knowing we’ve earned their trust has been incredibly meaningful. We don’t take that lightly. It’s truly an honor to be part of their pets’ lives.
Dr. Hannah: For me, it’s watching our team grow and thrive. We’ve built something together that reflects our values, and every day we get to walk into a clinic that feels both professional and personal. The most rewarding part is knowing we’re making a difference in a community we care deeply about.
