Brought a different kitty in thinking he was having respiratory issues, afraid it might be nasal polyps, but he got a clean bill of health! Turns out he just has some allergies. Easily treated with over the counter allergy meds at a very specific dosage for cats. Dr Tullar is no longer here which is heartbreaking, but I do have to say that City Vet consistently has very well trained, very knowledgeable veterinarians taking care of patients beloved pets.

This is seriously the best veterinary clinic I have ever taken my fur babies to! My 19-year-old kitty Angel has been under their care since September 2024 with the typical renal failure older cats get, and a newly diagnosed thyroid issue. She was in a lot of trouble back then and a previous vet did not want to put her on thyroid meds because they said it would harm her kidneys. Dr Tullar let me know that without thyroid medication that would ALSO harm her kidneys.
So, since he placed her on thyroid meds she has been doing so much better! He is absolutely fantastic!
Today, she was suffering from a bit of a setback and had vomited multiple times in the last couple of days. She seemed to be so hungry, but too nauseous to eat. Apparently, while vomiting she aspirated some of it and so we had the added issue of her being congested with mucus and constantly trying to clear her nose.
City Vet and Dr Tullar were able to get her in same day to check her out. She was given an antibiotic shot as well as an anti-nausea injection, and I was sent home with a couple of additional anti-nausea meds for the next couple of days if she needs them. He reassured me that even though she is an old kitty with issues, he does not see her at end stage yet, so that is incredibly good to hear!
Dr Tullar is extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind, and compassionate. I never feel that he is placing money over the health and well-being of my pet by trying to pressure me into “extra” tests. I feel that Angel is in great hands as we navigate next steps. She is getting great care here! The staff is always so friendly and so helpful. You can tell they all seem to love working here!
