Dr. Barber is a dedicated veterinarian who practices comprehensive medicine, including wellness and sick care for all life stages, internal medicine, dentistry and surgery. She is known for her expertise in treating cats (yes, even the spicy ones!) and helping anxious pets feel more comfortable during their visits, ensuring exceptional care at every stage of life.

Dr. Farris grew up in Rock Hill, South Carolina, where her family’s love for animals inspired her passion for pets from an early age. She spent time shadowing her father at his veterinary practice before moving to Texas with her husband, Cade, and their son, Caden, who is the greatest joy in her life. Dr. Farris is excited to expand her knowledge and skills as part of the CityVet team.

    Dr. Ericka Gillette

Dr. Gillette, a California native from the San Francisco Bay Area, made her way to Texas via North Dakota in search of warmer weather. Her passion for animals began early—she performed her first “surgery” on a stuffed animal at just two years old. Dr. Gillette has strong professional interests in dermatology, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and all things feline (though she loves her canine patients too!). She is also Fear Free® certified and passionate about animal behavior, ensuring a low-stress experience for every pet she treats.

Dr. Nathan Wheeless is our newest associate joining us from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. His career interests include internal medicine, orthopedics and neurology. In some spare time, he enjoys carpentry and spending time with his family constructed of his wife Emily, son Nolan, and 2 dogs(Jules and Maxwell). We are excited to have Dr. Wheeless on board to bring some fresh ideas to the ever changing veterinary field!
