We have been patients of Dr Awasthi for a year or so now, and she really takes the time necessary to hear our concerns, talk us through what is going on, and ensure we know all of our options.
The front desk always makes us feel like family, and could not be friendlier.
All around, we can say that CityVet is the best vet we have ever visited, and we will be patients there for years to come.
Thank you, CityVet team!
When you’re the client who says, “Actually… I want to do all of it. Give my fur baby the works!” 😂🐾
And we love that for you. 🤍
This month, we’re focusing on the full picture of everyday pet wellness — all those routine things that help keep your pet healthy, happy, and protected throughout the year. Think vaccines, yearly bloodwork, heartworm testing and prevention, intestinal parasite testing, and all the other pieces of preventive care that can sometimes get overlooked.
Whether you’re here for the essentials or you want to check every box you possibly can for your pet, we’re here to meet you where you’re at. No guilt, no judgment, no pressure — just education, options, and a care plan that makes sense for you and your pet.
Throughout the month, we’ll be breaking down the full picture of wellness: what we recommend, why it matters, and how each piece can fit into your pet’s individual needs. 🐶🐱✨
Because when it comes to their care, sometimes you want the whole picture… and sometimes, perhaps a salad. 😂

🏆🐾 Celebrating Our Senior Stars of the Month! 🐾🏆
This month, we’re celebrating two very special seniors who prove that age is just a number when you’re surrounded by love, care, and a whole lot of TLC! 💕✨
🐱 PJ — Senior Cat of the Month
PJ may have been shy and nervous at first, but this sweet kitty showed just how brave they truly are! 🥹💗 With the loving care and attention they’ve received throughout their golden years, PJ is still happy, healthy, and enjoying life to the fullest. We’re so proud of this brave little senior!
🐶 Hashbrown — Senior Dog of the Month
Goofy, sweet, and absolutely full of personality, Hashbrown is a true senior superstar! 🥰🐾 He’s been wonderfully cared for throughout his golden years and is still happy, healthy, friendly, and ready to make everyone smile. And for his big moment, he even gave us his BEST lion pose! 🦁📸
Both PJ and Hashbrown are wonderful examples of how much a little—or a lot—of love and good care can mean for our senior pets. Their bright spirits and happy hearts remind us that our older friends still have so much joy to give. 💕🐾
Congratulations to PJ & Hashbrown, our deserving Cat & Dog of the Month! 🏆🎉 We’re so lucky to celebrate these two! ❤️

Behind the scenes of CPR training! 🫀🐾
A little teamwork, a lot of learning, and just the right amount of controlled chaos! 😄 Huge thank you to the team at VEG Dallas for hosting such a fun, hands-on training session and helping us sharpen our emergency skills.
Because what happens behind the scenes matters just as much as what happens on the floor—always learning, always improving, and always ready when our patients need us most. 💙

Mercer is a beautiful reminder that every dog deserves to be seen, understood, and loved—regardless of whether they can hear. 🤍
Deaf dogs are just as deserving of a loving family, a safe home, and a life filled with joy as any other dog. Yet so many are overlooked, surrendered, or turned away simply because they communicate differently.
Being deaf doesn’t make a dog any less loving, loyal, playful, or deserving. It simply means we learn to communicate in a different way—with hand signals, eye contact, touch, and patience.
Mercer was given a second chance, and we hope his story encourages others to look beyond what a dog can’t do and see everything they can bring to a family. 🐾
There are so many wonderful deaf dogs waiting for someone to give them that same chance. Please don’t overlook them just because they can’t hear. They have so much love to give. 💙
