These Recruiting SMS Terms & Conditions (“SMS Terms”) apply to text message communications sent by or on behalf of Affinity Veterinary Partners and its affiliated brands, hospitals, and entities, including CityVet and Arista Advanced Pet Care (“Affinity,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) for recruiting, hiring, candidate engagement, career opportunity, interview coordination, and related communication purposes.
These SMS Terms apply to candidates, prospective candidates, applicants, referrals, students, interns, externs, residents, veterinary professionals, and other individuals who may be interested in employment, partnership, ownership, externship, internship, relief, leadership, clinical, hospital, support center, or other career opportunities with Affinity or its affiliated organizations.
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Affinity, you agree to these SMS Terms.

Affinity Recruiting Text Message Program
Affinity may send SMS or MMS text messages for recruiting, hiring, candidate engagement, career opportunity, interview coordination, and related communication purposes.
Messages may include:

- Follow-up communications related to your interest in Affinity, CityVet, Arista Advanced Pet Care, or affiliated hospitals
- Recruiting outreach regarding employment, ownership, partnership, relief, internship, externship, student, residency, veterinary, leadership, operations, clinical, hospital, or support center opportunities
- Interview scheduling and interview reminders
- Requests for additional candidate or application information
- Updates regarding the recruiting, interview, application, or hiring process
- Responses to questions you submit to Affinity or its affiliated organizations
- Event, meeting, career fair, hospital visit, or candidate engagement coordination
- Other recruiting, candidate relationship, or career opportunity communications
Affinity’s Recruiting SMS program is intended for recruiting, hiring, candidate engagement, and career opportunity communications. It is not intended for patient care, client service, emergency veterinary care, or general marketing to pet owners.

Consent to Receive Text Messages
By providing your mobile phone number to Affinity, CityVet, Arista Advanced Pet Care, or an affiliated organization through a form, application, recruiting platform, event, referral process, email, conversation, or other candidate communication channel, and by agreeing to receive text messages, you consent to receive recurring SMS or MMS messages from Affinity and its service providers at the mobile number provided.
Consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of employment, application review, interview participation, purchasing any goods or services, or entering into any business relationship with Affinity or its affiliated organizations.

Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary based on your relationship with Affinity, your stage in the recruiting process, the type of opportunity, and your level of engagement with our recruiting team.

Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates may apply to any SMS or MMS messages sent or received as part of Affinity’s Recruiting SMS program. Affinity is not responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier.

Opting Out
You may opt out of receiving text messages from Affinity at any time by replying STOP to any Affinity text message.
After you reply STOP, you may receive one final confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive text messages from Affinity’s Recruiting SMS program unless you opt in again.
Opting out of text messages does not prevent Affinity or its affiliated organizations from contacting you through other communication channels where appropriate, including email or phone.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.

Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide accurate and current contact information when communicating with Affinity or its affiliated organizations. You are responsible for notifying Affinity if your mobile phone number changes or if you are no longer the authorized user of the mobile number you provided.

No Emergency, Clinical, or Client Service Use
Affinity’s Recruiting SMS program is not intended for emergency communications, patient care, medical advice, client service, or pet owner communications. If you are a pet owner seeking veterinary care, please contact the applicable hospital directly. If your pet is experiencing an emergency, contact an emergency veterinary hospital or appropriate emergency care provider immediately.

Affinity may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued participation in Affinity’s Recruiting SMS program after changes are posted means you accept the updated SMS Terms.
