I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Shannon and the team. ARAH has been our vet since we moved back to San Antonio six years ago. They have always taken excellent care of our girls. Recently, we had to say goodbye to our beagle and, while there was nothing “easy” about it, Dr. Shannon and Amber were amazing. Their kindness and compassion shines through, even in the darkest time.
Thank you for helping our 7 week old puppy when he needed it. It was an emergency and you guys took the time and effort to help him and us. Everyone was amazing.

Great vets who really seem to like the dogs and have always fixed up our dogs.
So far so good. The staff is usually friendly. I get nervous when the dogs’ nails are clipped behind closed doors but understand it is standard procedure. I’m able to inspect the nails or bring concerns to their attention about the nails which is great. The team tries to accommodate me if possible and I appreciate it. I get constant friendly reminders about vaccines and other medical procedures which is great. Prices depend on procedures. Any veterinary can get expensive though.
Very pleasant staff. Doctors and assistants show compassion for their pet patients.
Dr Shannon and all the staff were extremely kind and patient with me and my fluffy little guy. I took my rescue pup in for a new patient exam and vaccine, and they explained his vaccine and care schedule to me as a first time dog owner and were very thorough. Their office is very clean and welcoming.
