If your pup is showing signs of overheating, acting fast can make all the difference. Move them to a cool area, offer tepid water, and begin gentle cooling measures while monitoring their temperature. If their temperature reaches 103°F or higher, seek veterinary care immediately.

Lead Veterinarian Partner
Dr. Courtney Nicholson is a graduate of Auburn University Veterinary School. Her career interests include geriatrics, neurology, preventive care, and hospice. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family composed of her husband, Johnny, 4 dogs (Rita, Barbra Jean, Wyatt, and Joey) and 2 cats (Peggy and Harriet). We are excited to have Dr. Nicholson join the practice to help with our growing clientele.

Dr. Nathan Wheeless
Lead Veterinarian
Dr. Nathan Wheeless earned his veterinary degree from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. His professional interests include internal medicine, orthopedics and neurology. Outside the clinic, Dr. Wheeless enjoys carpentry and spending time with his family, including his wife, Emily; son, Nolan; and two dogs, Jules and Maxwell. He is passionate about advancing veterinary medicine and providing high-quality care for pets and their families.
