CityVet has been great-the staff has been friendly and it’s obvious they care about pets. The doctor is knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything to us. It’s also been very easy to schedule with them.

Dr. Nazari is the vet every first-time dog owner hopes to find.

I’ve been bringing my dog to Dr. Nazari for about six months now, and I can honestly say he has made this whole experience so much less intimidating. As a first-time dog owner, I had a million questions and more than a little anxiety — and Dr. Nazari has been patient, kind, and genuinely reassuring every single visit.

What sets him apart is that he actually takes his time. He doesn’t rush through appointments, he listens, and he explains things clearly so I always leave feeling informed and confident rather than confused or worried.

I also deeply appreciate that he’s practical and honest. He’s never pushed unnecessary tests or treatments just to pad a bill — he gives straightforward, trustworthy guidance and recommends only what my dog truly needs. That kind of integrity is rare and means everything.

Dr. Nazari has earned my complete trust. My fur son- Ricky Ricardo is in the very best hands, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly, highly recommend! 🐾

I went to CityVet in Chevy Chase for the first time. I have an awesome time there, The space is very clean, warm and comfortable. Dr. Nazari is so kind and knowledgeable. It was my first time with my dog and he took his time with him, He was be able to get him calm and even give his treats. He explained to me process the whole experience was just Great. The ladies in the office and front desk were so lovely and patient knowledgeable as well and sweet with my dog I highly recommend them!!!!

Last month our thirteen year old Shellie collapsed. Our regular vet was not available to see him. We called City Vet who saw him within an hour. After an examination by Dr. Nazari, Kobe rallied and we came home. He collapsed again that evening. We returned the next day, and after an extensive consultation, we made the painful, but compassionate, decision to let him go. Dr. Nazari patiently explained that it was a neurological issue, probably a brain tumor, and he would not recover. Throughout this ordeal Dr. Nazari and his team were supportive, kind and sensitive. They did everything possible for us and Kobe. We are forever grateful to them.

Dr. Nazari and staff are great with my older large dog. A kind and compassionate team. We had been long-term clients of another large practice nearby that has felt like a poor fit in recent years. Very grateful to find Dr. Nazari who is an honest and nice person and great with my pup. He spends time to understand what’s going on and listens to me and my wishes with his treatment. They offer an annual plan that’s actually a great deal, and I am skeptical of subscription-type services. We have more than made up the modest cost of it. The pricing is reasonable compared to what I am used to paying. Booking is simple and I have always been able to get in the same day. The practice is very nice and clean – pup cups, treats, beverages, nice bathroom. Easy parking in the garage next door, and able to drop off right outside with flashers on if you or your dog have limited mobility issues. The techs are very kind too. Highly recommended and looking forward to continuing here.
