Dr. Leigh Johnston, Lead Veterinarian Partner at CityVet | Frisco Lexington, began her journey in veterinary medicine as a technician at CityVet, earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Texas A&M University, and grew into practice ownership through a drive to serve and help pets. She is passionate about providing personalized veterinary care, building trusted relationships with families, and delivering transparent communication that supports confident decision making. Dr. Johnston and her team focus on creating a comfortable, low stress experience for every pet while tailoring treatment plans to each family’s needs. Within the Frisco community, Dr. Johnston volunteers with local Scout groups and her church, supporting food drives and community events throughout the year. She leads with a servant leadership mindset and a genuine commitment to caring for pets and their families. Outside the clinic, she enjoys the outdoors with her husband, James, and their four children.

The service was also quick and well organized, which I really appreciated. Andrea speaks Spanish and was a huge help throughout the process, making communication much easier.

Update! I had to take in my Shih Tzu Tina and the team was amazing as always! I always feel heard and that my pets needs are taken care of. Love this office

Still wonderful cafe for my fur babies! We were worried Simba had a heart murmur and Dr. Johnston went above and beyond! She observed him for a day and he was so anxious. She then said we should try some gabapentin and bring him back. World of difference! Poor little guy was anxious! She saved us so much money by being patient and trying other avenues for us! So thankful for this loving team at City vet Lexington !
