We recently moved to the area from New Jersey and have a one-year-old cat, Lady 🐈⬛🩷. One evening after a day at the parks, during our usual TV-watching routine, I noticed she was drooling excessively. As any pet parent would, I immediately turned to Google—which sent me into a complete panic. 😭
From the moment we arrived, Amber and Dr. Heather put all of my fears to rest. We were seen immediately with absolutely no wait. They took their time with Lady, even sitting on the floor with her to help her feel comfortable and relaxed during the examination.
I have never experienced the level of kindness, patience, and genuine compassion they showed both my cat and me. Every step of the visit—from intake to examination to administering medication—was handled with such care and love.
As a pet owner, there’s nothing more reassuring than knowing your furry family member is in good hands, and that’s exactly how they made us feel. You would be doing your beloved pet a disservice by not choosing this veterinary office.

The team took the time to thoroughly explain everything to us, answer all of our questions, and make sure we felt comfortable with our dog’s treatment plan. It was clear that they genuinely care about both their patients and their owners.
As an added touch, they even took adorable pictures of our dog during his visit, which really showed how much love and attention they give to every pet in their care.
We are incredibly grateful for the excellent care they provided and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary team that goes above and beyond. Thank you for taking such great care of our boy!
I wasn’t just looking for great medical care, I wanted a clinic where the staff know my dogs, remembers who they are when we walk through the door, and genuinely care about each of them as an individual. After one visit to City Vet Lake Nona, I finally feel like I’ve found that.
Dr. Heather was amazing. It was so refreshing to meet a vet who is patient and takes the time to really examine your dog and get to know their lifestyle before making recommendations. She looks at what your individual dog needs, not just what a textbook says they should get based on their age or what is routinely recommended each year.
Meeting Dr. Heather gave me the same feeling as meeting your child’s first teacher and getting those warm fuzzies knowing your kid is going to be well taken care of. I left feeling completely confident that my dog is in great hands.
The entire staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The office is clean, beautiful, and equipped with advanced technology, but what stood out most was how welcoming everyone was.
After one visit, I left thinking, “Finally, this is the one.” I am so grateful to have found Dr. Heather and the team at City Vet Lake Nona and look forward to trusting them with my pets’ care for years to come. Highly recommend! Now that I have been here there is no way I could take my pets anywhere else!
