My other kitten Roux is simply spoiled rotten by Dr. B (female). He gets all his preventive care done here routinely. Churus for every nail trim and lots of love by the entire staff. Their kindness, attentiveness, and dedication makes all the difference. Simply amazing care from start to finish.
If you have not already, please sign up for the packages they offer, it saved me alot of money for my kiddos preventive care and included neutering. Talk with the practice manager, she is awesome!!

November 2025: I’d made the decision to move my dog’s care from the (great) vet near our old house over to CityVet in Murphy primarily for convenience, and I’d briefly had occasion to interact with the doctors in another setting and thought them to be kind and compassionate. The night before my dog’s first appointment, for his annual checkup and vaccinations, he became ill. While my family has dogs, this is “my” first dog, and I was very nervous. I texted the clinic first thing in the morning and they got back to me quickly and offered to move the appointment up by several hours.
The staff was kind, the environment is calm and they were very caring with my sick (but sometimes mean) dog. They assessed his symptoms and we decided we could treat his illness and move forward with the scheduled exam. The next day, they were great to respond to my worries as he was slow to get back to eating.
All is well now and I’m very glad we made the decision to take him to CityVet in Murphy. I’m looking forward to many years of having them care for this rude little dog.
When my little man needed intestinal surgery, it was a stressful and emotional situation—but Dr. Burgin handled it with such compassion and professionalism. Knowing my cat had to stay overnight with no staff was tough, but I felt absolutely comfortable leaving him in their hands. That level of trust means everything.
It’s clear that Dr. Burgin truly cares about both his patients and their owners. His kindness, expertise, and the support of his amazing staff made all the difference for us. I’m so grateful for the care my cat received and highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a vet who goes above and beyond.
