Megan, especially, deserves a huge shoutout. She has always gone above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, cared for, and truly special every time we walk through the doors. Her kindness and warmth make such a difference, and you can tell how much she genuinely cares about her clients and their pets.
I wouldn’t trust anyone else to care for Coco and Teddy. We are so grateful to have found City Vet and couldn’t recommend them enough!

Can dogs eat corn on the cob or hot dogs at your Labor Day BBQ?
Quick answer: no! Bones splinter, corn cobs cause blockages, and chocolate/xylitol are toxic. Keep pet-friendly treats on hand instead.
A few other things to keep in mind: alcohol and soda are off-limits, fresh water + shade beat the heat, supervise pool time (not every dog`s a strong swimmer), set up a quiet space for fireworks-sensitive pets, and clear the yard of citronella candles, bug spray, and skewers.
A little prep = a fun, stress-free weekend for everyone!

Dr. Watson loves all aspects of General Practice. From lasting relationships with clients to exceptional care for their 4-legged companions, he takes pride in doing his best work in all aspects. Dr. Watson enjoys all aspects of small animal general practice but has a lengthy background and focus in sporting dog medicine.
