Wait time: No wait. They called my pet by name as soon as I walked into the door and took me to a room. It was really nice actually. The vet tech was in there within 5 minutes. I wasn’t sitting in a room waiting for a long time. No staring at the walls at this vet clinic. I cannot express enough how much I appreciate this. Kudos for that!
Vet tech: she was very pleasant and easy to talk to. She communicated everything she was doing before doing it and asked permission to take my pet to the back. Very respectful. Very demure. Thanks girl! 🫶🏼
Vet: he was also very pleasant, easy to talk to, and explained everything well. He answered all of my questions including a random question about another pet unrelated to the pet I was there with. Killing it my guy! My cat needed an eye stain and he asked me if I wanted to look with him. I really appreciated this and I absolutely looked with him lol. Again, killing it! Anywho, he was knowledgeable and just overall a really nice guy vibe. Love that for him.
Price: very reasonable and affordable in my opinion. They also accept care credit and a couple other things I can’t remember. I do not know if they accept payments since I paid my whole balance. That would be a good question for someone to ask them. I never felt like I was being sold something I didn’t need and I was allowed to say “I don’t need this”.
A couple more things: my 14 year old was with me doing arts and crafts on the ground the entire appointment lol. The staff was completely unbothered and let my kiddo even look at my cats eye during the eye stain. And you know what, thank you guys for that. When we left my teenager said “they were all really nice”. Also, I wouldn’t characterize my cat as mean, but he can be intolerant of things like being picked up, cuddled, and overall is kinda a grumpy guy. To my surprise he was very chill with the doc basically forcing his painful eye open so he could see what was going on. No hissing. No scratching. No meowing. Then, my cat got a shot with the vet tech. Again, no hissing, scratching, or even meowing. At home the cat literally yells at us when we try to pick him up and now he’s behaving like an injured gentleman. It was weird, in a good way.
Basically one of the most opinionated and grumpy cats on the planet felt comfortable with these people and that’s a huge win for me.
So yea, I think that covers my experience. Will be using them as my vet going forward for all of my animals. You should too.

Healthy paw pads feel firm, a little elastic, and smooth. They may be black, pink, or a mix of both. When your dog`s paw pads look different, it`s often an early sign that something needs attention.
Here`s what to look for:
Cracked paw pads: Usually caused by dry air, dehydration, or walking on hot pavement or icy, salted sidewalks.
Red or inflamed paw pads: Often a sign of allergies, infection, or irritation from something your dog stepped on.
Crusty or thickened paw pads: Can come from normal wear. They can also point to nutrition problems or skin conditions that a vet should check.
Pink, soft, or black and elastic paw pads: Signs of healthy paws.
How often should you check your dog`s paws? Once a week is a good habit, plus after walks in extreme heat or cold. When should you come see us? Book a visit if your dog is limping, licking their paws a lot, bleeding, or has swelling or cracks that don`t heal within a few days.

Staying close: Napping beside you, sitting in your lap, or following you from room to room can all be your cat saying "I love you."

Dr. Anna Welsh did a wonderful job explaining everything to me, including what needed to be done and the treatment plan. The entire staff kept me updated throughout the process, which made a stressful situation much easier to handle.

I brought my dog, Willy, in today to be seen, and the entire team was welcoming and attentive from the moment we walked through the door. The doctor was super thorough during his exam and took the time to answer all my questions.

The customer service is just as wonderful. Everyone is so kind, welcoming, and genuinely cares about both the pets and their owners. The radiographs reveal abscesses and infection beneath the gumline that cannot be seen during a visual exam alone.

The Story of Boogie
Chapter 1:
On the morning of February 6th we received a call from a Good Samaritan who had come across an injured cat in the road, struggling for its life. It was presumed this kitty would need to be humanely euthanized and we agreed to do so to alleviate his suffering.
The injured cat was brought in shortly after and it was clear his injuries were life-threatening and his prognosis was grave. His head and face were severely swollen, and his injuries were gruesome. We’ll spare you the gory details but it was not pretty.
We scanned him for a microchip. No chip. He was intact, which increased the likelihood he was a stray. He was critically injured with likely no owner with a slim chance of survival. Seeing him struggle was heart wrenching. Euthanasia seemed like the most humane option. We gave him pain medications, sedated him, and prepared to alleviate his suffering in the most peaceful way possible.
When he was sedated, Dr Whitlock was able to address his wounds more thoroughly. Surprisingly, aside from his head, his body seemed to have little to no trauma. Out of curiosity, we took an X-ray of his chest and body to check for internal injuries. None. Dr Whitlock began to wonder if we could just get the swelling of his head down……
We decided as a team to try. We loaded him up on pain medications, hooked him up to fluids and gave medication to reduce swelling around his brain. It was a Friday, so that evening we made him cozy, set up a ring camera, and crossed our fingers. Right before turning off the lights and leaving, we heard the faintest resemblance of a meow. It was the first sign of real life we’d seen or heard. It was a small glimmer of hope but we still understood this poor kitty’s chances were slim. But so long as we could keep him comfortable, we would try.

What do your dog`s paw pads say about their health?
Healthy paw pads feel firm, a little elastic, and smooth. They may be black, pink, or a mix of both. When your dog`s paw pads look different, it`s often an early sign that something needs attention.
Here`s what to look for:
Cracked paw pads: Usually caused by dry air, dehydration, or walking on hot pavement or icy, salted sidewalks.
Red or inflamed paw pads: Often a sign of allergies, infection, or irritation from something your dog stepped on.
Crusty or thickened paw pads: Can come from normal wear. They can also point to nutrition problems or skin conditions that a vet should check.
Pink, soft, or black and elastic paw pads: Signs of healthy paws.
How often should you check your dog`s paws? Once a week is a good habit, plus after walks in extreme heat or cold. When should you come see us? Book a visit if your dog is limping, licking their paws a lot, bleeding, or has swelling or cracks that don`t heal within a few days.

How do cats show affection?
Cats show love quietly, through slow blinks, head bumps, and choosing to stay close to you.
Slow blinks: A relaxed, slow blink is a sign of trust. Try blinking slowly back to build your bond.
Head bumps: Cats have scent glands on their cheeks and heads. When your cat rubs against you, they`re marking you as family.
Staying close: Napping beside you, sitting in your lap, or following you from room to room can all be your cat saying "I love you."
