We had spend over a year of more of repeated visits, tests, and different treatments with out any success.
One visit with Dr. Watson and we had a diagnosis(food allergies)and left with a simple treament plan(change in diet) and we have been over a year with zero ear issues.
Highly recommend .

When a dog destroys everything, the cause usually falls into one of three categories: intense boredom (a need for activity), panic when left alone (a need for security, often seen as dog destructive behavior when left alone), or a natural instinct to chew or dig without a proper outlet. Identifying the driving need is the key to finding the right solution, especially if dog anxiety destructive behavior is part of the picture.

As a devoted pet parent, you know that keeping your furry best friend hydrated is a top priority, especially during the sweltering summer months or after a rigorous game of fetch. But sometimes, plain water just isn’t enough to replenish what your dog has lost. You might find yourself wondering, "can dogs have electrolytes?”

What makes a great veterinary experience? It`s more than medical expertise—it`s compassion!
When pets feel safe, and clients feel heard, it creates better care for everyone involved. At CityVet, we believe kindness is just as important as clinical excellence, and we`re grateful to hear that reflected in the words used to describe us.

Update: Luna had her surgery and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. Dr. Summers, Marissa, and Jalisa were so kind and comforting. They communicated with me every step of the way and explained discharge instructions clearly.
I plan on changing all of her care to this location 💕
From the moment we walk through the door, both my dog and I are greeted by name by every staff member we encounter. The clinic is always spotless, and everyone is so welcoming, they greet you with a smile and even offer drinks and snacks (or bring them to you if you have little ones in tow).
Our sweet boy has had a few medical issues this summer, including one that brought us in today, and they have always been incredibly reassuring and quick to get us seen. Today, I had the pleasure of wrangling all three of my kids into the appointment with me (which is about as chaotic as it sounds), and not a single person made me feel like we were an inconvenience. Instead, everyone was so kind, patient, and welcoming to all of us. They even kept my kids stocked with snacks while I focused on our dog which, if you’re a parent, you know is worth its weight in gold!
Dr. Summers takes the time to thoroughly explain everything, answers every question with patience, and never makes you feel rushed. You can genuinely tell how much she and her staff care about both their patients and the families who love them.
Finding a veterinarian you completely trust is priceless, and that’s exactly what we’ve found at CityVet Spring. They consistently go above and beyond, and I am so grateful for the exceptional care they’ve given our dog. In my experience, this is hands down the best veterinary clinic I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Thank you, Dr. Summers and the entire CityVet Spring team, for treating our boy like one of your own.

Our dog recently had to get an extraction and we were nervous about putting him under anesthesia but Dr Hall was super knowledgeable about sighthounds and the risks and answered every question. We just picked him up and he’s doing great. They texted the whole time and updated us and took great care of him.
We found our vet home!! We love you Dr Hall and CityVet Leon Springs team!
We never feel rushed or like we are just a number to the team. Every time we have been in to the office – whether for annual shots or nail trims, they treat our pups like royalty. We’ve never felt pressured into any one treatment option either, Dr. Hall and team always present options and discuss everything with us so we can make an informed decision about Thomas and Frannie’s care.
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Hall and team. At the end of the day as pet parents, we all want a vet and team that will care for and treat our pets the way we treat them. Dr. Hall and her team are definitely that practice!

After over 35+ Years, we found ourselves needing to find a new Veterinarian when one of our Dogs (Elly) developed an issue just months after Her last routine check-up. Our prior Vet had since retired and we will just say, things at the place we had been going to for many years had changed.
Based on a referral from a friend that had taken their Pets to Dr. Sandra Welsh for many years, we decided it was time to see if Dr. Welsh was a good fit for our Family.
My wife went online as was able to quickly and conveniently schedule a visit.
When we walked in, the facility was very Clean, Welcoming, and the Team at the front desk very attentive in greeting us.
Once checked in, we were quickly greeted by a Veterinarian Technician that took us to a room. She was very professional and thorough in both asking us questions and listening as we provided information.
Shortly after the Tech. left the room, Dr. Welsh arrived.
After an initial greeting, the attention to detail by the Tech. was evident. Dr. Welsh did not need to rehash a bunch of questions. She had detailed notes provided by the Tech. and we were able to quickly dive into more details without feeling like we had just been through all the initial information already.
As Dr. Welsh started to examine our Dog (15 ½ Years old) she had an excellent “bed side manner”. As she was examining our Girl, she was openly talking to us as to what she was looking for, observing, and asking us additional questions as needed. At no point did the visit seem rushed or the focus strictly on a single symptom / issue without taking into consideration all possible factors.
Once she was done, she was very clear in her thoughts & findings as well as a recommended course of treatment, along with timelines as to what to expect and what to keep an eye on to ensure we started to get our Girl heading in the right direction.
After a quick in house Lab Test to confirm a few of her findings, all needed medications were available on-site and the planned course of treatment was again reviewed to ensure we had no questions.
After Dr. Welsh was done, another Team member came in to review our visit and all related charges where we could talk and settle our bill in private. We did not have to try and conduct business in a lobby where other Pets could create a distraction or a possible tense situation while trying to “check-out”.
We were 100% pleased with our initial visit to City Vet | Marvin and have taken steps to transition both our Dog’s ongoing care to the Team at City Vet.
If you need a Veterinarian or looking to make a change, we highly recommend the Team @ City Vet.
Lastly, we learned in addition to Dr. Sandra Welsh, there are two other Veterinarians on the Team @ City Vet | Marvin.
Dr. Kelly More (30+ years of experience), and Dr. Anna Welsh (that is in an amazing environment to grow and help meet the needs of our Pets well into the future.)
To us, this means a Team of both seasoned and up and coming Veterinarians ready to help not just us, but each other as they care for the wellbeing of our Dogs.
From the moment you walk into the room, you’re met with a warm, genuine personality and a smile that immediately puts both you and your pet at ease. She’s attentive in a way that’s increasingly rare, she never rushes, never makes you feel like she’s watching the clock. She takes her time, gets down to your dog’s level, and treats each animal like they’re her only patient that day.
What really sets her apart is how thoroughly she explains everything. She answers questions in detail and in plain language, so you actually understand what’s going on, what your options are, and why she’s recommending a particular course of action. Her reports are top-notch, clear, detailed, and organized — so you leave with a real record of the visit rather than a few scribbled notes.
She also follows up. Whether it’s checking in after a treatment or making sure a medication is working, she stays engaged well after you’ve left the office. She takes every concern seriously, no matter how small it might seem, and never makes you feel like you’re overreacting as a pet parent.
Finding a vet you trust completely is hard, and Dr. Walsh has earned that trust many times over. My dog is in the best possible hands with her, and I recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated veterinarian.

The customer service is just as wonderful. Everyone is so kind, welcoming, and genuinely cares about both the pets and their owners. 🐾 Flea & Tick Prevention Matters! 🐾
Summer is here, and that means flea and tick season is in full swing! Warm temperatures and increased outdoor activity make this the busiest time of year for these unwanted pests.
At daycare, boarding, and grooming facilities, dogs spend time playing, socializing, and sharing spaces with other pets. That’s why keeping your dog on a veterinarian-recommended flea and tick prevention program is so important!
Fleas and ticks aren’t just a nuisance—they can:
❌ Cause itching, skin irritation, and allergic reactions
❌ Spread diseases to pets and people
❌ Quickly infest homes, yards, and pet facilities
❌ Put other dogs at risk
By keeping your dog’s prevention up to date, you’re helping protect not only your own pet but every furry friend they interact with. Prevention is much easier, safer, and less costly than treating an infestation.
Thank you for helping us maintain a healthy, comfortable environment for all our guests this summer! ❤️🐶
☀️ Peak flea and tick season is here—make sure your pet is protected before their next visit!

The Story of Boogie
Chapter 1:
On the morning of February 6th we received a call from a Good Samaritan who had come across an injured cat in the road, struggling for its life. It was presumed this kitty would need to be humanely euthanized and we agreed to do so to alleviate his suffering.
The injured cat was brought in shortly after and it was clear his injuries were life-threatening and his prognosis was grave. His head and face were severely swollen, and his injuries were gruesome. We’ll spare you the gory details but it was not pretty.
We scanned him for a microchip. No chip. He was intact, which increased the likelihood he was a stray. He was critically injured with likely no owner with a slim chance of survival. Seeing him struggle was heart wrenching. Euthanasia seemed like the most humane option. We gave him pain medications, sedated him, and prepared to alleviate his suffering in the most peaceful way possible.
When he was sedated, Dr Whitlock was able to address his wounds more thoroughly. Surprisingly, aside from his head, his body seemed to have little to no trauma. Out of curiosity, we took an X-ray of his chest and body to check for internal injuries. None. Dr Whitlock began to wonder if we could just get the swelling of his head down……
We decided as a team to try. We loaded him up on pain medications, hooked him up to fluids and gave medication to reduce swelling around his brain. It was a Friday, so that evening we made him cozy, set up a ring camera, and crossed our fingers. Right before turning off the lights and leaving, we heard the faintest resemblance of a meow. It was the first sign of real life we’d seen or heard. It was a small glimmer of hope but we still understood this poor kitty’s chances were slim. But so long as we could keep him comfortable, we would try.

Sadly, we moved out of state a few years ago. However, I still recommend this location to friends and family in the Dallas area.
Dr. Murphy is amazing!!! Super smart, empathetic, accessible after hours, and truly cares about your pet as if it were his own. My dog loved him and he is still considered our favorite vet.
Cassy is truly the heart of the practice. Her compassion for animals is genuine and unmistakable. She doesn’t just know the pets who come through the clinic—she remembers them, follows up on them, and sincerely cares about their health and happiness.
Years ago, Cassy helped me navigate treatment options for my sweet boy, Foster’s hip dysplasia including laser therapy that significantly improved his comfort and mobility. She was always patient, encouraging, and willing to answer questions. Her knowledge and dedication made a difficult situation much easier to manage.
Today, Cassy continues to provide that same exceptional level of care for my puppy, Hudson. Whether it’s helping coordinate appointments, answering concerns, or simply checking on how he is doing.
I am also deeply grateful to Cassy and Dr. Coville for helping me manage Hudson’s sensitive stomach and Shar-Pei Fever. Anyone dealing with a chronic condition in their pet knows how stressful and emotional it can be. Dr.Coville’s thoroughness is unmatched and Hudson absolutely adores her. He loves going to City Vet.
In a world where exceptional customer service is becoming harder to find, Cassy and Dr.Coville are truly one of a kind. Their dedication, kindness, empathy, and love for animals set the standard for what veterinary care should be.
After more than a decade of knowing Cassy, I can honestly say she has made a meaningful difference in the lives of both Foster and Hudson, and in mine as well.
CityVet Uptown Dallas is fortunate to have someone as remarkable as Cassy leading the office, and I wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone looking for veterinary care from people who treat your pets like family.

10/10 absolutely trust this team with my dogs.
Before the fireworks begin this Fourth of July, remember to contact your veterinarian to discuss any medications your pet may need to help manage anxiety and stress caused by loud noises. Planning ahead can make the holiday much more comfortable for your furry family members. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July! 🎆

Learning how to properly brush your dog’s teeth with Dr. Coville 🐶🪥 daily brushing is best, but dental chews are a great alternative. Just make sure they carry the VOHC seal for proven effectiveness! 🐾 #dogdentalcare #petdentalhealth #vetmed #cityvet
