Our beloved Shih Tzu, Luna (Black and white dog), went through a very delicate situation after a gauze was mistakenly left inside her during a spay procedure at another veterinary clinic in Roswell. This serious error could have cost her life.
When we brought her to CityVet, everything changed. The staff treated both Luna and our family with extraordinary kindness, professionalism, and compassion. From the first visit to the follow-ups, their care was constant and reassuring.
Dr. Whitlock deserves special recognition. She was not only highly professional but also profoundly human, empathetic, and meticulous in resolving the problem. Her dedication and expertise gave us hope and confidence in the most difficult moment.
Today, just 13 days after her corrective surgery, Luna is perfectly well now. she is eating, playing, and interacting joyfully with her sister and with us.
We are forever grateful to CityVet, Dr. Whitlock, and the entire staff for saving Luna’s life and for treating us with such dignity and warmth. They didn’t just heal our dog; they restored our peace of mind.

Brought a different kitty in thinking he was having respiratory issues, afraid it might be nasal polyps, but he got a clean bill of health! Turns out he just has some allergies. Easily treated with over the counter allergy meds at a very specific dosage for cats. Dr Tullar is no longer here which is heartbreaking, but I do have to say that City Vet consistently has very well trained, very knowledgeable veterinarians taking care of patients beloved pets.

This is seriously the best veterinary clinic I have ever taken my fur babies to! My 19-year-old kitty Angel has been under their care since September 2024 with the typical renal failure older cats get, and a newly diagnosed thyroid issue. She was in a lot of trouble back then and a previous vet did not want to put her on thyroid meds because they said it would harm her kidneys. Dr Tullar let me know that without thyroid medication that would ALSO harm her kidneys.
So, since he placed her on thyroid meds she has been doing so much better! He is absolutely fantastic!
Today, she was suffering from a bit of a setback and had vomited multiple times in the last couple of days. She seemed to be so hungry, but too nauseous to eat. Apparently, while vomiting she aspirated some of it and so we had the added issue of her being congested with mucus and constantly trying to clear her nose.
City Vet and Dr Tullar were able to get her in same day to check her out. She was given an antibiotic shot as well as an anti-nausea injection, and I was sent home with a couple of additional anti-nausea meds for the next couple of days if she needs them. He reassured me that even though she is an old kitty with issues, he does not see her at end stage yet, so that is incredibly good to hear!
Dr Tullar is extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind, and compassionate. I never feel that he is placing money over the health and well-being of my pet by trying to pressure me into “extra” tests. I feel that Angel is in great hands as we navigate next steps. She is getting great care here! The staff is always so friendly and so helpful. You can tell they all seem to love working here!

Dr. Coville is truly exceptional. You can tell immediately that she’s not just incredibly knowledgeable, but that she genuinely cares. I truly don’t know what I would have done without Dr. Murphy, Dr. Coville, and the entire CityVet team. They have incredibly difficult jobs, but they show up every day with not only professionalism, but genuine compassion and care that goes far beyond what you would expect.
They treat your pet like it’s their own. They laugh with you, take photos with you and your “kids,” and when things take a turn for the worse, they sit with you, cry with you, and support you through some of the hardest moments. They don’t just care for the animals—they care deeply for the people who love them.
They cared for both my dog and my cat for years, and over the past four months, they helped me through the heartbreaking experience of saying goodbye to both of them. I have had pets my entire life and have worked with many vets in different places I’ve lived—but never once has leaving a vet impacted me like this. I cried knowing they would no longer be part of my pets’ lives or mine.
Dr. Murphy has always been incredibly attentive, kind, and responsive—going out of his way to follow up with calls or even texts when I couldn’t answer. Dr. Coville and the entire staff are just as amazing—kind, patient, and always willing to go above and beyond.
CityVet also makes everything seamless, from grooming to checkups to boarding, all in one place—but what truly sets them apart is the heart behind everything they do.
