The only issue I had was after I asked a simple question about the difference between the estimate I signed and the final invoice. I wasn’t disputing the charges at all—I was simply looking for clarification, which I think is a normal question for any client to ask. While waiting, I could clearly hear the Doctor discussing me from another area with other people. Being able to hear that conversation felt really unprofessional and uncomfortable.
Overall, the experience was good, but the lack of professionalism in that situation was off putting.

When a dog destroys everything, the cause usually falls into one of three categories: intense boredom (a need for activity), panic when left alone (a need for security, often seen as dog destructive behavior when left alone), or a natural instinct to chew or dig without a proper outlet. Identifying the driving need is the key to finding the right solution, especially if dog anxiety destructive behavior is part of the picture.

My dog had a series of unfortunate injuries earlier this year, but amidst the panic, I felt so supported by the staff here. We were referred to a great ophthalmologist by Dr. Trostel, and I even ended up having him medically boarded at the CityVet in Phillips Creek soon after. We wouldn’t have been able to get through those rough few weeks without their services and compassion.
Thank you for making a place that’s scary for most pets a safe space for my baby. We’ll continue coming back because no one takes care of us as well as CityVet Frisco!
Each of my cats have had two surgeries here (including spaying and neutering). The staff kept me updated on the procedures, after care, medications, follow up visits, etc.
One of my cats is sweet as can be and cooperates great (Bonnie). The other (Clyde), is very dramatic and very vocal with his displeasure of being away from home. He’s had to come in for a lot (neuter, UTI, anxiety/aggression, bloodwork, rectum issues, swallowed a hair tie), and I fully trust their expertise here. Dr. Fowler and all the vet techs I’ve interacted with always go above and beyond for making me, and the cats, feel comfortable and receive the best care possible. They always answer all of the questions I have and give me several options for how to proceed – being mindful of both care for the cats and financially.
Also a HUGE shoutout to Liz at the front!!! Clyde and I were previously frequent visitors for appointments, and buying food, and Liz always recognized us. Thank you for being such a friendly face and such a great help when I needed to schedule so many appointments!!
Thank you to everyone who’s treated my babies from this location – you have all been a joy, and always make me feel validated since these really are my kids right now!

I just moved all the way from Wisconsin, and before that Arizona, and I’m not really sure if I ever got my footing.
That’s why this morning, when my Juice (my dog) went limp, I knew my options where scares financially. I almost accepted that I would just have to put her down.
These people are my heros. They treated us with kindness, dignity, and respect. And in spite of my circumstances financially, they didn’t tell me once to give up on her. Instead they put a plan together for me and whether Juice makes a recovery or not, my conscience doesn’t have to battle with the idea that I didn’t get her the help she needed.
If any of you read this thank you again from the bottom of my heart from our little family, it meant the world to us.
Juice is below, she’s not comfortable at all, but at least she’s able to make noise and soon I hope she’ll find her strength.
Spay/neuter your dogs early, it can bite you both when you least expect it and go to City Vet, they’ll do right by you.
