Dr. Aronoff was great. My Boston had this strange heaving/reverse sneeze issue. I was pretty concerned, but instead of immediately pushing expensive imaging and tests, he was honest and straightforward. He told me we could certainly do more expensive diagnostics, but that he truly didn’t think they were necessary at that point. He recommended starting with a simple steroid because he felt confident in his diagnosis—and he was absolutely right. I worked like a charm.
I didn’t know CityVet locations are individually owned, so it was comforting to learn that Dr. Aronoff actually owns this practice. There’s something reassuring about knowing the veterinarian caring for your pet is personally invested in the clinic and the level of care being provided.
Kaylee, the tech, was incredibly sweet and attentive as well. The entire staff was kind, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care. The facility itself is great—clean, modern, and brand new.
We’ll absolutely be back whenever my girl needs care, and I highly recommend CityVet West 7th to anyone looking for a veterinarian in Fort Worth.
I was a little worried because Cuvée is convinced that dogs, strangers, and most of the world are out to get her. 😂 Instead of waiting around the lobby, they took us straight back to a cat-friendly exam room (complete with a cat tree!), which helped keep her surprisingly calm.
Everyone we met was friendly, efficient, and genuinely kind. Vet tech Kaylee was so sweet and patient with both my anxious kitty and her slightly more anxious mom.
Dr. Aronoff was wonderful! He was calm, gentle, and never rushed us. He somehow managed to give my cranky little old lady a full exam with only one tiny hiss at the very end, when she remembered she has a reputation to uphold.
We left with a diagnosis, treatment, and a plan for future care all in one visit. I really appreciated how smoothly everything went and how comfortable they made both of us feel. I think we’ve found Cuvée’s new vet home. ❤️

Scheduling was easy, everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the clinic was very clean. They explained everything clearly, provided quotes upfront, and even emailed me information and treatment options, which made the whole process simple and convenient.
They were also very patient with my cat, offering treats and taking their time when she was feeling stressed. Vet visits can be overwhelming, but the team created such a calm and caring environment. I highly recommend them.

Bruce stopped by for a quick weight check with our tech, Maddi, so we could make sure he’s getting the correct dose of heartworm prevention—because as our growing puppies change, so do their medication needs! 🐶💙
While he was here, Bruce also started his canine influenza (dog flu) vaccine series. 🩺🐾
Canine influenza is a highly contagious respiratory virus that spreads anywhere dogs gather. If your pup visits:

🐾 Patient Spotlight: Jaxon 🐾
Meet Jaxon! ❤️ After not feeling his best, X-rays revealed bladder stones, and he underwent a successful cystotomy (surgical removal of bladder stones). We’re happy to report he’s on the road to recovery! 🎉
Bladder stones can be painful and may lead to serious complications if left untreated. Some common signs to watch for include:
🐶 Frequent urination
🩸 Blood in the urine
😣 Straining or difficulty urinating
🚽 Accidents in the house
💧 Urinating only small amounts
⚠️ Licking the urinary area more than usual
🚨 In severe cases, an inability to urinate—this is a medical emergency and requires immediate veterinary care.
If your pet is showing any of these signs, don’t wait to have them evaluated. Early diagnosis and treatment can make all the difference.

My son was very nervous while Mikey received his injections, and the staff was incredibly patient, understanding, and reassuring with both of us. They even stayed open a few minutes past closing one evening so Mikey could come back for additional medication, which meant so much.

When a dog destroys everything, the cause usually falls into one of three categories: intense boredom (a need for activity), panic when left alone (a need for security, often seen as dog destructive behavior when left alone), or a natural instinct to chew or dig without a proper outlet. Identifying the driving need is the key to finding the right solution, especially if dog anxiety destructive behavior is part of the picture.
