This was my first time at Vet City and I am incredibly happy with the service! From Jude at the front desk, Jenn was the assistant and Dr. Daube, everyone was so comforting and gentle with my little man (cat) especially since this is the first time he’s had an issue. Dr. Daube is lovely! Very thorough and explained everything through the process. Jenn explained the pricing breakdown and payment options. The whole experience was a huge relief and I am beyond grateful!

Impressed so far! My dog has has some weird pain since yesterday, so I took him to City Vet this morning to rule out anything life threatening. We still don’t know what’s going on, but I was prepared for extensive diagnostics, emergency surgery and having to barter my first-born, but instead, they did a through exam and sent us on our way with some pain meds and instructions to monitor him and check in again, all for less than a hundred bucks! No pushing of additional, potentially unnecessary, stuff. Everybody was super nice, we were in an out in less than an hour! Of course they also weren’t able to diagnose what’s going on, but I think that was more due to my dog being kind of dramatic one moment and pretending everything was fine the next. Will update if we end up having to go back!

Really great experience! The clinic was very clean, the rooms were comfortable, and the doctors and nurses were very kind and friendly. I called in the morning and they were able to see me earlier than my scheduled appointment, which I really appreciated. Most importantly, my dog felt comfortable with the nurses, the doctor, and the whole environment. Their prices are also very reasonable. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this clinic!

I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Dr. Heather Lipp and the entire team at CityVet Lake Nona. After everything we have gone through with Kobe recently, I’m extremely grateful that we had Dr. Heather taking care of him.

Kobe is our 16-year-old male Shih Tzu, so at his age, any sudden change in his health is scary. We originally brought him in because he had gotten very sick with stomach issues. He had diarrhea, bloody stool, wasn’t eating like himself, and his energy had completely changed.

From the beginning, Dr. Heather was incredibly sweet, patient, and understanding. She took our concerns seriously, explained everything in a way we could understand, and gave us a clear plan for his medications, food, hydration, and recovery. With her treatment and guidance, his stomach issues improved tremendously. The diarrhea and bloody stool resolved, his appetite came back, and we finally started seeing our Kobe again.

Then, just when we thought we were getting past everything, Kobe suddenly developed a completely different problem. He started coughing, breathing really fast, making strange grunting sounds, and almost seemed like he was trying to catch his breath. Picking him up would sometimes trigger another episode. It was honestly terrifying, especially with him being 16.

When we brought him back, Dr. Heather took action immediately. She evaluated him and had chest X-rays done, which showed fluid in his lung and an enlarged heart pressing against his airway. We learned that he was experiencing congestive heart failure related to mitral valve disease.

Hearing “congestive heart failure” about your 16-year-old dog is obviously scary, but I will always be grateful for how Dr. Heather handled that day. She immediately started treatment to help remove the fluid and put Kobe on the heart medications he needed. She explained what was happening, what each medication was for, and what we needed to watch for at home.

Thankfully, Kobe responded incredibly well. His breathing improved so much, the coughing improved, his appetite came back, and little by little so did his personality. He’s drinking water on his own, wagging his tail, enjoying his little walks, stopping to smell things again, and just being Kobe. Seeing him comfortable and happy again after everything he went through means more to us than I can explain.

The entire staff at CityVet Lake Nona has also been amazing. Everyone we’ve spoken to has been sweet, patient, and communicative. Whenever we’ve had questions during their opening hours, they’ve always done their best to help us and communicate with Dr. Heather when needed.

I’ve had animals for around 20 years and have dealt with plenty of veterinarians, and Dr. Heather genuinely stands out to me. She took action when Kobe needed it most, and the care she and the staff have given him throughout this entire experience has meant so much to our family.

We know Kobe is 16 and that his heart condition will require lifelong care, but right now he’s comfortable, eating, drinking, wagging his tail, enjoying his walks, and being himself again. After everything that happened, that’s all we could ask for.

Thank you, Dr. Heather, and everyone at CityVet Lake Nona for taking such wonderful care of our baby. We are truly so grateful!!!

I honestly don’t even know where to begin! The entire staff was absolutely amazing and so caring. Dr. Heather is truly one of a kind, the sweetest and most attentive doctor I’ve ever met.

Wow, I have two words- Above and beyond!
Dr. Lipp and her team Lisette, Amber and Cheyenne are exceptional!

My cat Emma was experiencing some pain and discomfort post-surgery with another vet. I reached out to them and didn’t get the reassurance I needed and felt there was something wrong. Alternatively, I reached out to Dr. Lipp via email at an unusual hour for a second opinion. To my surprise, she responded and was able reassure me and fit me into her schedule.

Dr. Lipp has a compassionate and pleasantly soothing presence that instantly puts you (and your pets) at ease. She is thorough, honest, and most importantly kind!

When I called in the morning to schedule the appointment, Cheyenne was able to explain my options, was professional and helpful. She shared my options so clearly. I felt like I was in great professional hands.

Then, when I came in Lisette asked clarifying questions to get the bigger picture and shared her professional experience and perspective about the situation. She made me feel seen, heard and understood. She was incredibly compassionate and honored my feelings, that space truly put me at ease.

After checking in, Amber assisted me with the Drop-off process and explained the process clearly and was patient with my ambivalence.

In addition to the heart-centered and thorough service, the space matched the energy I received over the phone. The space was clean, calm and had a specific area for cats, which I loved!

I FINALLY found a Veterinary Clinic addressed my need for clarity with patience, calmed my nervous system, AND gave me the level attention to detail I needed as a persnickety, sometimes hyper-vigilant Cat Mom.

I am truly grateful for Dr. Lipp and her team! They make me feel so seen and safe that I was completely comfortable leaving my cat in their care with their Drop-off option, and I NEVER feel comfortable leaving my cat with anyone.

The bar is set extremely high and I will never forget how I felt in this experience. If they had offered human health services, I would most certainly come here! 😄

To quote Maya Angelou, “People may not remember what you said, but they remember how you made them feel.”☺️

Dr. Sanchez was amazing! She was so kind and gentle and talked so sweet to my cat. He was injured and not looking good, but she spoke kind to him and was there for him. She was also supportive to myself, as I was concerned for his wellbeing. They treated him for exactly what I came in for. He is going to get well and I look forward to our checkup in two weeks. Thanks team for helping Hulk get better. I really felt cared for and loved.

We are traveling home to Texas and are on a tight travel schedule. One of our doggies has had severe diarrhea and some vomiting for over 24 hours. It was bad enough to effect our trip and she was also showing signs of dehydration and wasn’t improving. We got up in the morning and decided we needed to take her to a vet. The first ER vet clinic that was close and 24 hour. Long story short we waited 3 hours and hadn’t seen a doctor or been “assigned” to a doctor. When I asked how much longer, after waiting 3 hours, we were informed it would be 2 to 3 more hours. I have been a dog owner for years. I knew the standard is tummy meds and fluids under the skin. Quick and easy
That is all we needed.

We needed to get back on the road so we left and called CityVet. They got us in right away!!! The ladies at the desk were kind the technician and doctor answered questions and were helpful getting our baby taken care of so we could get back on the road. If I could give them 10 stars just for the timely manner they gave us I would. Just awesome. Thank you all for your help!

I can’t thank Dr. Cleary and her team enough for helping my iggy River, through this tough time with a broken leg. Dr. Cleary made sure he was out of pain right away, found the break, splinted his leg to stabilize it, and also gave me peace of mind. City Vet is hands down the best vet clinic in town! Dr. Cleary and her entire staff are incredibly caring, knowledgeable, and professional. The clinic itself is always spotless and clean, and their prices are very reasonable. One of the best features is that they double as an urgent care clinic, which makes booking after-hours and weekend appointments incredibly convenient. I wouldn’t trust any one else with Tiki, Moki, and Zumi, and honestly, they love seeing Dr.Cleary just as much as I do. Highly recommended!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about CityVet River Oaks and Kristen Cleary. The care we received for my boxer was truly amazing from start to finish. Kristian was compassionate, patient, and incredibly dedicated, even working with me while I was in a different state and coordinating with a veterinarian at another clinic to make sure my dog received the right care.
The clinic itself was very clean and welcoming, which gave me confidence right away. Most importantly, the diagnosis was accurate in a very tough and concerning situation, and that made all the difference. Kristian showed genuine commitment to helping my dog no matter where we were, and I felt supported every step of the way.

The team at CityVet was extremely helpful, informative, and accommodating. Our sweet little Pomeranian, Harvey, needed a last-minute checkup on a Sunday, and CityVet was happy to help. They got us in quite quickly, were very thorough in their assessment, and were very patient and helpful as Harvey produced a fecal sample at the park across the street. We’ll definitely be back in the future.

Our standard poodle has been treated by Dr. Cleary and her team a few times now and have done an outstanding job each time. Pet emergencies seem to always happen on weekends and City Vet is one of the few places you can get in on an emergency basis on a Sunday afternoon. The first time we went in, a groomer had poked my dog in the eye and we were able to get her looked at right away. The medications worked wonders and my dog was seeing better within a few days. I also like the fact that they quote you the price before treatment so you are never surprised by the size of the bill. Their prices are much more reasonable than some of the other vets we have seen in Houston. The facility is extremely clean and parking is plentiful. I highly recommend City Vet.

We have followed Dr. Cleary from Petco to CityVet because of the exceptional care she has given our dogs over the years. She is always level-headed, thoughtful, and honest, and we have come to really trust her judgment and recommendations.

Last year, Dr. Cleary helped us through an incredibly difficult time when our dog was experiencing kidney failure. She guided us through a heartbreaking situation with compassion and honesty, and we will always be grateful for the care she gave Sadie.

Now, she is helping us make sure our new dog gets the care she needs, and we feel so fortunate to have her as our vet. We would absolutely recommend Dr. Cleary to anyone looking for a regular veterinarian or needing urgent care. She genuinely cares about her patients and the people who love them.

I can’t thank Dr. Cleary and her team enough for helping my iggy River, through this tough time with a broken leg. Dr. Cleary made sure he was out of pain right away, found the break, splinted his leg to stabilize it, and also gave me peace of mind. She made sure he left comfortable with pain meds and also gave me thorough follow-up instructions. River loves coming here, he is always extremely grateful for all the love and care he recieves. ❤️🐾

City Vet is hands down the best vet clinic in town! Dr. Cleary and her entire staff are incredibly caring, knowledgeable, and professional. The clinic itself is always spotless and clean, and their prices are very reasonable. One of the best features is that they double as an urgent care clinic, which makes booking after-hours and weekend appointments incredibly convenient. I wouldn’t trust any one else with Tiki, Moki, and Zumi, and honestly, they love seeing Dr.Cleary just as much as I do. Highly recommended!

Dr. Choi and the staff have been so very helpful in caring for our dogs. I cannot recommend Dr. Choi enough. Her diagnoses have been spot on. They have been able to see my dogs the same day and there is little wait time. They were quickly put in an examination room. The entire facility is clean, fresh and bright.

Excellent customer service. My dog experienced a sudden paw injury, so I called around to find same-day urgent care. On my initial call, the receptionist was very empathetic but informed me that they were fully booked. She called back less than 3 minutes later and informed me that Dr. Choi was able to squeeze us in in 30 minutes if we could make it. They checked us in promptly, presented us with options for treatment, and took great care of our pup!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about CityVet River Oaks and Kristen Cleary. The care we received for my boxer was truly amazing from start to finish. Kristian was compassionate, patient, and incredibly dedicated, even working with me while I was in a different state and coordinating with a veterinarian at another clinic to make sure my dog received the right care.
The clinic itself was very clean and welcoming, which gave me confidence right away. Most importantly, the diagnosis was accurate in a very tough and concerning situation, and that made all the difference. Kristian showed genuine commitment to helping my dog no matter where we were, and I felt supported every step of the way.
I am so grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and exceptional care we received. I highly recommend CityVet River Oaks and Kristen Cleary to anyone looking for a veterinarian team that truly goes above and beyond for their patients and their families.

The team at CityVet was extremely helpful, informative, and accommodating. Our sweet little Pomeranian, Harvey, needed a last-minute checkup on a Sunday, and CityVet was happy to help. They got us in quite quickly, were very thorough in their assessment, and were very patient and helpful as Harvey produced a fecal sample at the park across the street. We’ll definitely be back in the future.

Prince Blazie’s royal needs were addressed: nail trim; anxiety identified and medication received with a referral and a forward looking plan; orthopedic management started; taking all of him, my limitations and a multi-dog stead into consideration. His royal charms were noted, but behavior not excused based on his size, home or background. Expectations fitting for a king🐾

We have been going to CityVet for over 10 years for our animals. Before we found them, we always had a hard time finding thorough, caring and honest vets. We are beyond grateful we crossed paths with CityVet White Rock. All the doctors are amazing and truly care for animals. We recently had to put our 15 year old German shepherd to sleep and Dr. Wallace ,plus all other employees, were so compassionate and understanding. They took their time with us, helped to reassure we were doing the right thing and Liz even sent a beautiful card signed by all staff with our pup’s paw print. So grateful we have that. The manager, Abby, was very responsive and sweet when helping us set up the appointment. I’ve never experienced a vet office with this much efficient communication and such high level of care! Thank you for all the years of taking care of our pets!!

We had the unfortunate experience of taking our family member (doggo) here just a week or so ago. She was 15 and he been suffering from a chronic cough as well as seizures. We had never been here in the past. These people were heaven sent. Understood what we were going through, were compassionate, and took their time. We knew before we got there that it was our friend’s time. They put the cars on the table and let us deal.

They gave us time with our dog every step of the way. The left us with a signal button to let them know when we were read for the next step. And as I cry now writing this review I tekk you that there is no better choice for end of life care than City Vet. I only am upset with them now because I got a heartfelt card from them in the mail reminding me just how important my dog was to me and to them.

In your hardest times, your hardest choices, I hope you pick these compassionate people to help you through those times. They were a God send.

I miss miss my dog now so much, but they mad the hardest choices easier and compassionate.

Dr. Cowdrey has been our vet for over 15 years. She has always been very knowledgeable and compassionate. Her care for our fur babies has been top notch. She genuinely cares and takes her time during appointments. We love CityVet’s hours, cleanliness, and staff who go above and beyond!

I have 2 “psychotic” reactive dachshunds, which I foolishly brought together with my daughters who were not helpful lol. When we entered the clinic complete chaos erupted as my girls let the dogs loose and they were barking and trying to attack all the other bigger dogs. Embarrassed and trying to corral the kids and dogs while simultaneously apologizing to the staff and other dog owners, the staff was prompt about getting us into a room even though we were 30 mins early.

In the room my crazy dogs were still barking like crazy, but the staff was so wonderful and offered to take them back separately to update their vaccines and get their nails trimmed as they were only there for a check up.

Dr. Harris is always wonderful, she prescribed my dogs an anti anxiety medication for the next time we come in. She was also very transparent about pricing before offering services which is very much appreciated.

Needless to say my experience was great and by the time we left nerves we calm. I will continue to take my pets to City Vet for their care, maybe next time separately and not with kids lol!! Thank you!
