Bailey had previously been diagnosed with Valley Fever, so during this visit she had an exam and bloodwork done. Dr. Chelsea Linehan was excellent she let me explain Bailey’s symptoms without interrupting or rushing me and seemed genuinely interested in hearing everything that had been going on. Dr. Linehan also explained things in a way that was easy to understand, including why Bailey might be feeling the way she has been and why valley fever could possibly be returning.
The visit took about an hour, which felt very reasonable considering the exam and testing. The receptionist, vet assistant, and Dr. Linehan were all friendly, proficient, knowledgeable, supportive, and took the time to answer my questions. I also really appreciated that no one rushed or brushed off my concerns, and there was no pressure to buy medications through the clinic. They were happy to give me a prescription so I could fill it elsewhere.
Im unsure of prices at other veterinary offices, but I paid around $300+ for the exam + bloodwork. (If this helps)
Overall, I felt like Bailey was in great hands and I’m very thankful for the care she received.
