I was a little worried because Cuvée is convinced that dogs, strangers, and most of the world are out to get her. 😂 Instead of waiting around the lobby, they took us straight back to a cat-friendly exam room (complete with a cat tree!), which helped keep her surprisingly calm.
Everyone we met was friendly, efficient, and genuinely kind. Vet tech Kaylee was so sweet and patient with both my anxious kitty and her slightly more anxious mom.
Dr. Aronoff was wonderful! He was calm, gentle, and never rushed us. He somehow managed to give my cranky little old lady a full exam with only one tiny hiss at the very end, when she remembered she has a reputation to uphold.
We left with a diagnosis, treatment, and a plan for future care all in one visit. I really appreciated how smoothly everything went and how comfortable they made both of us feel. I think we’ve found Cuvée’s new vet home. ❤️
They now care for my son’s two frenchies and my new mini bernedoodle, Tidbit! I can’t say enough kind things about this office! The reception is energetic and you can tell how much they love animals. Erin always checks in after a visit to make sure the pups are well after vaccinations. Dr. Aronoff is fantastic. He always takes time to let the pups love on him before his exam which makes the pups feel less anxious. Everyone is so attentive and they are amazing communicators! I always understand every procedure or home instructions, and they follow up with texts, emails or phone calls. I love that I get reminders for vaccinations or wellness visits since sometimes we are just too busy and can lose track of time.
As if their veterinary services aren’t enough, they now offer grooming too! They recently hired Ashlynn as their groomer! Tidbit had the pleasure of being part of the interview and we were very pleased with the results. Tidbit is 4 month old mini bernedoodle who looks like a mop and she is a very wiggley puppy, Ashlynn did a great job framing her face and trimming her paws and nails. She had great advice to help get her use to the sound of the trimmer, although she now likes to chew on anything that vibrates 🤣
I could go on and on about CityVet West 7th! If you live near downtown Fort Worth and own an animal this is the best vet in town!

Dr. Aronoff is passionate about preventive medicine and about educating his clients in all facets of medical care to help keep their furry family members happy and healthy. He recognizes that good medicine is practiced where evidence-based recommendations meet the expressed desires of his clients and the unspoken needs of his patients.
