Dr. Lauren Pastewka, DVM, MBA

Dr. Pastewka joined CityVet in 2025 and serves as Vice President of Field Operations & Talent Acquisition. She brings 10 years of veterinary leadership experience spanning clinical practice, multi-site operations, recruiting, and organizational growth. Prior to joining CityVet, Dr. Pastewka served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Veterinary Officer for a multi-state veterinary organization, where she oversaw medical operations, recruiting strategy, and growth initiatives across the portfolio.

Dr. Pastewka joined CityVet because of its veterinarian-led culture and unique partnership model that empowers doctors to build successful, people-centered practices while maintaining clinical autonomy. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine and also holds an MBA. Dr. Pastewka is based in Florida with her family, dogs, cats, and horses.
